LYNN BAKER was the founder of Conference Speakers International, one of South Africa’s most successful Speaker Agencies established in 1991, representing the best of the best on the South African speaking circuit, including Derek Watts, Gary Bailey, Gavin Sharples, Alison from Port Elizabeth, Robin Banks and many more.
Lynn has spent 25 years in the corporate event industry, having founded Conference Speakers International – the top Professional Speakers Agency in South Africa. More recently, Lynn completed a 10 year Management contract with the Tsogo Sun Group, where she was responsible for the launching, marketing and managing of Montecasino Corporate Events in Johannesburg and Suncoast Corporate Events in Durban, both of which are now highly successful businesses.
As a Public Speaking Coach, Lynn works with CEO’s MD’s and Senior Executives assisting them with the content, structure and dynamic delivery of speeches and presentations to Boards of Directors, Association Meetings, Conferences and Corporate events.
With many years of business experience and a sharp sense of humour, Lynn epitomizes what a good Master of Ceremony and function host should be, she dresses like a professional, understands corporate protocol and she works well under pressure. Lynn insists on spending time with the event organiser and doing a technical dry run to ensure that the programme running order is correct, protocol for the event is followed and the time management is clearly defined, to ensure that the event runs professionally.
